What is a mechanical combination lock?
A mechanical combination lock is a coded lock that requires a certain amount of numbers in a sequence to unlock it. Each number is on an individual dial, so they can be turned in the order required. These dials are connected to the internal locking mechanism, so when the correct combination is entered the mechanism inside is disengaged. The amount of numbers on the combination lock can either be three or four. Four 4-digit locks can have up to 10,000 different combinations, making them ideal for a range of applications where security is paramount.
